Shorts

Hi guys. I went shopping the other day, and am excited with the purchases I made. Along with three other shorts, I bought these Ikat shorts, and I gotta say that I am absolutely in love. I feel they can be dressed down or up in many cute ways. For this particular outfit I wanted to integrate a loud color to compliment the low purple hue in the shorts. And as you can see, my BR sweater once again made an appearance. For future posts I plan on styling a piece of article in different ways.

On a second note, here are the LC by Lauren Conrad wedges I promised I would style. I think that post was from April. Sorry it took that long, but academics come first. Thanks for taking the time to view and hopefully leaving a warm comment. :)

Casual Sophistication

Greetings everyone! It seems that every time I go into my closet I opt out for the neutral color, so for once I wanted to make a change. I wanted to go for loud colors that would captivate the eye but also balance it out with neutral accessories and a white sweater. Together, this color palette creates a sophisticated look that can be worn for various occasions.

Pop of Color

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is having a cool day. Since this summer has been a nonstop inferno I decided to wear a sheer top and pair it with a black & white checkered skirt. Since I was just wearing monochromatic colors I decided to add a pop of color with the two-toned orange clutch. For those of you who are afraid of color, try to incorporate it through your accessories. Little by little, you'll feel comfortable enough to explore with any color through your clothing.

Plain Jane

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a fresh and wonderful day. These past few days have been brutally hot - I'm talking triple digits. For today's OOTD I decided to be relaxed, but still add some accessories to add a little something extra to the outfit. Since I don't like to show too much skin, I opted to wear a thin cardigan.
